About

A woman with short dark hair, wearing a striped headscarf, a white off-shoulder sweater, and denim overalls, smiling while sitting on a black couch in an art gallery or cafe with framed artwork on dark-colored walls, and a potted plant nearby.

I am an emerging Australian artist whose practice is deeply rooted in my agricultural upbringing. As a fourth-generation cattle farmer, my relationship with the land is intimate, generational, and complex. My works aim to explore the weight of that legacy—how the land holds us, and how we, in turn, hold responsibility for it. They consider how knowledge is passed down through hands and habits, how identity is shaped by landscape, and how rural narratives can be reclaimed through a more human lens.

Alongside my studio practice, I am actively engaged in the Newcastle arts community. I currently work as a Gallery Assistant at the University of Newcastle Galleries and have contributed to initiatives such as The Lock-Up’s Youth Advisory Panel. I graduated with an Award of Excellence from Newcastle Art School in 2023 and received the Emerging Talent Award in the Newcastle Club Foundation Art Prize the same year.
